A saddle on every post top carries a 42.4mm stainless handrail, giving an 1100mm finished height on level runs. 10mm toughened glass, 900mm high, sits between the posts in pre-fitted clamps: two on end posts, four on mid and corner posts. Outside and inside corner posts come with a corner bracket. Posts are set at up to 1200mm centres, and the system is designed in line with BS 6180:2011.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn stairs, adjustable saddles and elbows let the handrail follow the pitch. Open handrail ends finish with an end cap, or with a wall flange where the rail meets a wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEvery kit is planned from your measurements, and the glass is made to measure for your layout, taking 3–4 weeks. You need at least 200mm of solid structure below finished floor level to fix the posts to. Post fixings are not supplied, because the right fixing depends on what you're fixing to.
