• What are artificial hedge tiles made from?

  Artificial hedge tiles are typically made from high-quality polyethylene (PE) plastic mounted on a durable backing grid. This makes them lightweight, weather-resistant, and safe for indoor or outdoor use.

• Can I use hedge tiles outdoors and indoors?

  Yes. Our panels are UV-stabilised for outdoor use, and they’re also safe for interior applications such as feature walls, offices, or event backdrops.

• Will the colour fade in sunlight?

  Our hedge panels are made from UV-stabilised polyethylene. The material has been tested by SGS to ASTM G154 for 5,000 hours of UV exposure and rated 4 on the 1–5 grey scale for colour change, where 5 is no change. For extra protection in high-sun spots, a UV spray can be applied annually.

• Are the panels fire-resistant?

  Two of our panels — Garden Hedge and Tropic Garden — are classified B-s3, d0 to EN 13501-1 by SGS, when mechanically fixed to a non-combustible A1 or A2 substrate. Our other panels are not fire-classified. If your project needs a fire classification, contact us before ordering and we will share the test report.

• How do I install hedge tiles?

  Panels interlock using built-in connectors. They can be fixed to fences, walls, or frames using zip ties, screws with washers, or adhesive depending on the surface. For a seamless finish, ensure all panels face the same direction.

• Can hedge tiles be cut to size?

  Yes. Panels can be trimmed with scissors or wire cutters to fit corners, edges, or irregular spaces. This makes them adaptable for custom projects.

• Do I need special tools to install them?

  No specialist tools are required. Basic tools such as scissors, zip ties, a drill, or screws are usually enough. For large installations, an installation kit may be helpful.

• How do I clean and maintain hedge panels?

  Simply rinse with water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use mild soap and a soft cloth. Gently brush the foliage to keep leaves looking full. No pruning, watering, or fertilising is required.

• Can I order a sample before buying?

  Yes, 25cm x 25cm sample panels are available so you can see the quality, colour, and texture before committing to a full order. If you would prefer to see a bigger piece, we also sell full tiles in singular units.

• How long will artificial hedge panels last?

  Our artificial hedge panels come with a 3-year warranty. With secure fixing and occasional cleaning they keep their appearance well, and indoor installations are protected from the weather and direct sunlight that cause outdoor wear.

• Can they withstand strong weather and wind?

  Yes, when installed securely. Panels are designed for all-weather conditions, but in very high-wind areas, we recommend using heavy-duty fixings or securing panels to a solid surface.

• Are hedge tiles safe and eco-friendly?

  Yes. Panels are non-toxic, lead-free, and recyclable. They are safe for homes, pets, and commercial spaces.
