Fire-classified for commercial projects

This panel carries a reaction-to-fire classification of B-s3, d0 to EN 13501-1:2018, from an independent SGS test (April 2025). B is the highest class available to a combustible product on the EN scale (A1 to F), s3 means smoke production is not limited, and d0 means no flaming droplets.

The classification applies under the tested conditions: the panel mechanically fixed to a non-combustible substrate classified A1 or A2 (such as calcium silicate board, cement board or masonry), tested without a joint. UV-stable foliage

The foliage is UV-stabilised polyethylene. The material has been tested by SGS to ASTM G154 (Cycle 1) for 5,000 hours of UV exposure and rated 4 on the 1–5 grey scale for colour change, where 5 is no change. Covered by a 3-year warranty.

• Is the Garden Hedge panel fire-rated?

  It is classified B-s3, d0 to EN 13501-1:2018, from an independent SGS test, when mechanically fixed to a non-combustible substrate classified A1 or A2, such as calcium silicate board, cement board or masonry. Contact us before ordering and we will share the test report.

• Does the fire classification apply if I fix the Garden Hedge panel to a timber fence?

  No. The classification was achieved on a non-combustible A1/A2 substrate, tested without a joint. It cannot be assumed on timber or other combustible backings.

• How many Garden Hedge panels do I need?

  Each panel is 1m x 1m, so one panel covers one square metre. Multiply the width by the height of the area in metres and round up.

• How thick is the Garden Hedge panel?

  The foliage is 120–160mm deep with 95% shade coverage, giving a full, dense hedge effect.

• Can hedge tiles be cut to size?

  Yes. Panels can be trimmed with scissors or wire cutters to fit corners, edges, or irregular spaces. This makes them adaptable for custom projects.

• How do I clean and maintain hedge panels?

  Simply rinse with water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use mild soap and a soft cloth. Gently brush the foliage to keep leaves looking full. No pruning, watering, or fertilising is required.

• Can I order a sample before buying?

  Yes, 25cm x 25cm sample panels are available so you can see the quality, colour, and texture before committing to a full order. If you would prefer to see a bigger piece, we also sell full tiles in singular units.
