Spigots - Black

Description

Our black glass spigots are the floor-mounted clamps at the heart of a spigot balustrade: each square spigot grips the bottom edge of a toughened glass pane, holding it upright with no posts and a frameless appearance. The spigot body is 316 marine-grade stainless steel, powder-coated black — the same grade as our satin option, so the black finish costs you nothing in corrosion resistance.

Each spigot mounts through an oval base plate, bolting down into solid structural material (fixing bolts are supplied separately to suit your substrate), with a base plate cover available to conceal the fixings. Spigots suit toughened glass from 12mm up to 21.5mm toughened laminated, used at two spigots per pane with panes up to 1100mm wide.

• How many spigots do I need?

  Two spigots per pane of glass, with panes up to a maximum width of 1100mm — so divide your run into panes of no more than 1100mm and allow two spigots each. Send your measurements through the quote form and we'll confirm the layout.

• What glass do these spigots take?

  Toughened glass in 12mm and 15mm, or toughened laminated in 17.5mm and 21.5mm. Which thickness your installation needs depends on fall height and whether a cap rail is fitted — our spigot system page explains the rules, and the team will confirm before any glass is cut.

• Are fixing bolts included?

  No — the correct bolt depends on the substrate you're fixing into, so bolts are supplied separately. Contact the team if you're unsure what to use for your surface.
