Registering activates the manufacturer's cover on your composite decking and gives you a reference to quote if you ever need to make a claim. It takes about two minutes.
If registration is not completed within 90 days of delivery, the composite decking warranty does not apply and you are left with your statutory rights only.
Deck not laid yet? Register now anyway — the 90 days run from delivery, not from installation. Send us the installation details once it is finished.

If your deck is not laid yet: once it is finished, email info@theoutdoorlook.co.uk within 30 days with your registration reference, the date installation was completed, and photographs of the finished deck. Quote the reference so we can attach it to your existing registration.

Uncapped decking is not suitable for commercial installations, and no warranty applies to commercial use.
Cover is against structural defects caused by manufacturing faults — and, for capped boards in residential use, excessive fading or staining under normal use. The substructure is not covered, whether or not we supplied it. Full terms, exclusions and the claims process are on our Warranties page.
The single most common reason a decking claim cannot be accepted is installation that does not follow the guidance supplied with the boards. In particular:
