Safe, durable and zero-maintenance PVC perimeter fencing for school sports pitches. The Pro Pitch system is designed to last the life of the facility -- no painting, no rotting, no replacement. Supply only or fully managed installation nationwide.
School sports pitches take a heavy beating -- daily use, year-round exposure, and the occasional ball impact at pace. Timber rots, steel corrodes and needs repainting, and temporary mesh fencing is a safeguarding risk. The Pro Pitch PVC system is manufactured from coated steel and PVC composite -- it will not rot, rust, fade or require any maintenance for the life of the installation. One installation, no ongoing cost.
No sharp edges, no exposed fixings, no corroding steel. The smooth white PVC finish is safe for students of all ages and eliminates the injury risks associated with traditional steel or timber fencing.
No annual painting contract, no timber treatment, no replacement posts. Once installed, the Pro Pitch system requires no maintenance whatsoever for 15 years. Significant whole-life cost saving versus timber or steel.
The Double Mesh system retains balls completely -- no more interruptions to lessons while students retrieve balls from neighbouring areas. The Single Mesh system provides high retention at a lower cost.
Posts are installed at 2,500mm centres and rails are cut to length on site. The system adapts to any pitch dimensions -- full-size 11-a-side, reduced-size 9-a-side, or multi-sport MUGA layouts.
The Pro Pitch system meets DfE guidance on outdoor sports facilities and can be specified as part of school capital improvement projects including Priority School Building Programme and Condition Improvement Fund works.
Schools with a site team can take Supply Only with our full installation guide and phone support. Academies and MATs preferring a managed project can use our nationwide Supply & Install service.
Three product variants are available depending on budget and performance requirements. All three carry the same 15-year warranty and SGS certification.

Yes. The Pro Pitch system has no sharp edges, no exposed metal fixings and no risk of corrosion. The smooth white PVC finish is completely safe for students of all ages. The 1,100mm height is sufficient to retain balls without creating a barrier that could cause injury if run into, and the posts have no protruding caps or fittings at head height.
Yes -- the Pro Pitch system is well suited to multi-use games areas. Posts are installed at 2,500mm centres and can follow any rectangular layout. Gates can be positioned at any point on the perimeter to suit your MUGA's access requirements. Contact us for a layout consultation as part of your free quote.
At 1,100mm height, planning permission is generally not required for sports pitch perimeter fencing. However, schools on listed sites or within conservation areas should confirm with their local authority before proceeding. Academy trusts undertaking major site works should also check their funding agreement conditions.
Schools and academies may be able to fund pitch fencing through the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF), the Priority School Building Programme (PSBP), or Sport England's Community Asset Fund. Academy trusts should also check whether their Regional Delivery Partner can advise on capital spend for outdoor sports facilities. We can provide the full specification documents needed to support a funding application free of charge.
Supply Only orders typically dispatch within 10-15 working days. Supply & Install lead times vary by region and season -- contact us for current availability. We are experienced in working to school holiday installation schedules to avoid disruption to the timetable.
