Our aluminium balustrade swivel brackets let your rails connect at angles other than 90°, so your balustrade can follow a corner that isn't square — for example, an angled deck edge or an irregular patio shape. The bracket pivots horizontally to match the angle of your corner, keeping a clean, continuous run around non-standard layouts.
You need swivel brackets whenever a corner turns at an angle that isn't a right angle. For straight runs and standard 90° corners, the fixed brackets supplied with the rail kit are all you need — swivel brackets are specifically for those non-square corners on the flat.
The brackets are finished in black powder-coated aluminium to match the rest of the system — rust-free, low-maintenance and built for year-round outdoor use.
Note that swivel brackets are for horizontal corners that aren't 90°. For angling rails down a staircase, you'll need stair brackets instead.
Our aluminium balustrade kit and Build Your Own calculator cover straight runs, 90° corners and stairs. If your layout has non-90° angled corners, please use our quote form and we'll work out exactly what you need, including the swivel brackets.

No — they do different jobs. Swivel brackets handle horizontal corners that aren't 90° (angled corners on the flat). Stair brackets are for angling rails down the pitch of a staircase. If you're going down steps you need stair brackets; if you're turning an angled corner on the level you need swivel brackets.
