Black Stainless Steel Tube

Description

This is the handrail. The black stainless steel tube is the 42.4mm round rail that runs along the top of a post and handrail balustrade — it sits in the saddle brackets on each post, is cut to size on site, and is fixed to the saddles with screws for a rigid, continuous rail. It is 304 stainless steel with a black powder-coated finish, matching the black posts and fittings.

The tube is available in a choice of lengths — select from the options above. Runs longer than a single length continue through the in-line tube connector, corners turn with the 90° end elbow bracket, and open ends finish with a black end cap, or a wall flange where the rail meets a wall.

It serves the Post & Handrail Glass Balustrade System in Black; a satin stainless steel tube matches the uncoated 316 range.

FAQs

• Is this the handrail itself?

Yes — the tube is the rail. Posts and saddle brackets carry it, but the 42.4mm tube is what your hand runs along, so order enough length to cover every run of the balustrade.

• Can the tube be cut to length?<

Yes — the tube is cut to size on site as part of installation, then positioned in the saddles and screwed down. For help planning your lengths, contact the team rather than working from generic measurements.
