The black in-line tube connector extends the handrail. When a balustrade run is longer than a single length of 42.4mm tube, the connector joins two tubes end-to-end in a straight line, so the rail carries on continuously rather than stopping and restarting. It is 304 stainless steel with a black powder-coated finish, matching the black handrail tube and fittings.
Use one handrail tube connector per join — a run needing three tube lengths takes two connectors, and so on. Changes of direction are handled by different fittings: the 90° end elbow bracket for corners and the adjustable elbow for stair pitches.
It serves the Post & Handrail Glass Balustrade System in Black; a satin stainless steel connector matches the uncoated 316 range.

Whenever the run is longer than one length of handrail tube. The connector joins the next length in-line, keeping the rail straight and continuous instead of leaving a break in the run.
Yes — each place two tubes meet takes one connector. Count your tube lengths and subtract one: three tubes in a run means two connectors.
