Fire-classified artificial hedge panels

Two of our artificial hedge panels, Garden Hedge and Tropic Garden, carry an independent reaction-to-fire classification of B-s3, d0 under EN 13501-1:2018, tested by SGS. They are 1m x 1m panels with the same realistic, UV-stabilised foliage as the rest of our range, for commercial, hospitality and shared-building projects where a fire classification is required.

What B-s3, d0 means

B: a very limited contribution to fire (the EN 13501-1 scale runs from A1 to F). s3: smoke production is not limited. d0: no flaming droplets or particles. We state the full classification openly rather than make a vague “fire-retardant” claim.

How it is fitted matters

The classification applies when the panel is mechanically fixed (not glued) to a non-combustible substrate classified A1 or A2, such as calcium-silicate board, cement board or masonry, fitted without joints as in the tested configuration. Fixing to a combustible surface such as timber is a different situation, and the classification cannot be assumed to carry across to it.

No other product in our range carries a fire classification.
