Corner Post – Semi Frameless (Satin)

Description

The satin corner post takes a glass balustrade around a 90° turn, holding a 10mm toughened glass panel on each side of the corner with its four pre-fitted ‘D’ shape clamps. Like the rest of the range it is a 42.4mm round post at 1100mm height, made from uncoated 316 marine-grade stainless steel with a welded base plate and cover collar.

Use one stainless steel corner post per 90° change of direction, and measure each side of the corner separately so no span between posts exceeds 1150mm. The satin post cap finishes the top and is sold separately, and ground fixings are chosen to suit your surface rather than included.

It is a component of the Semi-Frameless Glass Balustrade System in Satin, designed in line with BS 6180:2011 and covered by a 10-year warranty. A black corner post is also available.

• What is the difference between the satin and black corner posts?

  The steel and the finish. The satin corner post is uncoated 316 marine-grade stainless steel — the pick for coastal and exposed sites — while the black version is 304 stainless steel protected by a black powder coating. Dimensions and clamp count are identical.

• Do corners need extra parts beyond the corner post?

  No — for a 90° turn the corner post is the complete answer, with its four clamps carrying a panel on each side. Non-90° angles should go through the free quote form instead.
