Description
The gate latch assembly holds a tube-framed gate shut. Both halves cradle round tube, clamping to the 48.3mm gate stile and the closing post or second leaf with no welding. The catch adjusts across a 15–35mm gap, so it takes up the tolerance you actually end up with on site rather than the one on the drawing.
One per gate. Pair with two gate hinge assemblies per leaf. On a double gate — two leaves meeting in the middle of a wider opening — you'll also need a drop bolt at ground level to hold the closing leaf while the latch does its job. That isn't part of this system and needs sourcing separately.
