Our black glass balustrade channel is the aluminium U-channel at the heart of a frameless glass installation: the glass sits in the channel at floor level and is gripped along its full bottom edge by gaskets, so there are no posts, spigots or point fixings — nothing on show but the glass. The channel is powder-coated black aluminium, supplied in 2.5m and 5m lengths that combine to complete your run.
Installation is base-fix: the channel bolts down through its base into solid structural material beneath, with no core drilling and no wet-set channel to cast in. Fixing bolts are supplied separately, because the correct bolt depends on your substrate. When ordering, select your glass thickness — 15mm, 17.5mm or 21.5mm — and we'll supply the gaskets to match; the channel itself is the same, so it's the gaskets that fit your glass securely.
