The fixed handrail saddle bracket is the connector between post and handrail on straight, level runs. It sits on top of the post, cradles the 42.4mm round handrail tube in its saddle, and the tube is then screwed to the saddle for a rigid, continuous rail. This black version is 304 stainless steel with a powder-coated finish to match the black posts and tube.
Allow one rail saddle per post along a level run. Where the run climbs a staircase or slope, use the adjustable saddle bracket on that section instead — its head tilts to follow the pitch.
This bracket serves the Post & Handrail Glass Balustrade System in Black. A satin stainless steel version matches the uncoated 316 range.

It joins the handrail to the post. The saddle sits on the post top, the 42.4mm handrail tube rests in its curved seat, and screws lock the tube to the saddle — giving the balustrade a continuous, rigid handrail along the whole run.
Yes — each post in the run carries the handrail, so allow one saddle per post. Use fixed saddles on level sections and the adjustable version on stairs or slopes.
