Post & Handrail End Post – 978MM – Black

Description

The 978mm end post starts or finishes a run in the post & handrail glass balustrade system. It's a 42.4mm diameter post in 304 stainless steel with a black powder-coated finish, with two D-shape glass clamps pre-fitted (rubber gaskets included, for the system's 10mm toughened glass). The post is 978mm because the rail saddle push-fits to the post top and the 42.4mm handrail tube runs above it — together reaching the system's 1100mm finished guarding height.

• Is this the same as the 1100mm post?

  No — this is the post & handrail system's post. It's 978mm because a saddle and the 42.4mm handrail tube sit on top, taking the finished height to 1100mm. Our semi-frameless system uses 1100mm posts with the glass running level to the post top. Check which system your balustrade is before ordering.
