End Post – Semi Frameless (Black)

Description

The black end post starts or finishes a straight run of glass balustrade. Made from 304 stainless steel with a hard-wearing black powder-coated finish, the 42.4mm round post stands 1100mm high and comes with a welded base plate and cover collar for a clean surface fix. Two ‘D’ shape glass clamps arrive pre-fitted with rubber gaskets, ready to grip a 10mm toughened glass panel on one side of the post — no drilling into the glass.

Use one black balustrade end post at each open end of a run, or wherever the balustrade meets a wall or structure. Maximum spacing between posts is 1150mm, so longer runs add mid posts between the two ends. A matching black post cap finishes the top and is sold separately, as are ground fixings, which vary by surface.

• How many glass clamps come with the end post?

  Two ‘D’ shape clamps, pre-fitted with rubber gaskets. An end post carries glass on one side only, so two clamps hold a single 10mm toughened panel securely without drilling the glass.

• What is the difference between an end post and a blank post?

  An end post carries glass — it starts or finishes a run and comes with two pre-fitted clamps. A blank post has no clamps at all and is used where no glass fixes to the post.
