End Post – Semi Frameless (Satin)

Description

The satin end post starts or finishes a run of glass balustrade in uncoated 316 marine-grade stainless steel — the grade chosen for coastal, poolside and exposed sites where corrosion resistance matters most. The 42.4mm round post stands 1100mm high with a welded base plate and cover collar, and two ‘D’ shape clamps come pre-fitted with rubber gaskets to hold a 10mm toughened glass panel without drilling.

Fit one stainless steel end post at each open end of a run or where the balustrade meets a wall, keeping spacing between posts to a maximum of 1150mm. The satin post cap finishes the top and is sold separately; ground fixings are not included, as the correct bolt or anchor depends on your surface.

• Is the satin end post suitable for coastal locations?

  Yes. It is uncoated 316 marine-grade stainless steel, the specification used for coastal, poolside and other exposed environments. Occasional cleaning with warm soapy water keeps the satin finish at its best.

• Are fixing bolts included with the post?

  No. Ground fixings are never included, because the correct fixing depends on what the post mounts to — concrete, timber, steel or masonry all need different anchors. The welded base plate and cover collar are included.
