Blank Post – Semi Frameless (Black)

Description

The black blank post is the clampless post in the range — the same 304 stainless steel, black powder-coated, 42.4mm round profile at 1100mm height, with a welded base plate and cover collar, but supplied plain with no glass clamps fitted. It is used wherever the balustrade needs a post but no glass fixes to it.

Its most common job is stepped ground. Where a garden, patio or decking drops in level, the glass on each level runs to its own end post, and a blank post fills the visual gap at the step so the post line stays consistent as the balustrade changes height. Blank posts also finish exposed edges and tidy breaks in a run where a panel is not needed.

It belongs to the Semi-Frameless Glass Balustrade System in Black; finish the top with the separate black post cap. Also available as a satin stainless steel blank post.

• When do I need a blank post?

  Most often on stepped or sloping ground, where the balustrade changes level: each level’s glass ends on its own end post, and a blank post keeps the post line continuous at the step. They also finish edges or breaks in a run where no glass meets the post.

• Why doesn’t the blank post come with clamps?

  Because it never carries glass — it is supplied plain. If the post needs to hold a panel, use an end post (2 clamps) or mid post (4 clamps) instead.
