The satin 90° flush angle scroll end finishes an open handrail end in the uncoated 316 range. It turns the last section of the 42.4mm tube through a smooth 90° curve, closing the run off neatly instead of leaving an open tube exposed to the weather. As 316 marine-grade stainless steel, it keeps its satin finish on coastal and exposed installations, matching the satin tube and fittings exactly.
Use one per open end of rail. Where the run turns a corner, the satin 90° end elbow bracket carries it onward instead, and runs finishing against a wall take a satin wall flange.

Where the rail finishes. A scroll end closes a free-standing open end with a curved return; a wall flange anchors the tube end into a wall when the run finishes against masonry or a building. If your rail ends mid-air, it is a scroll end you need.
An open end lets rain and debris into the tube, looks unfinished, and leaves a hard rim at hand height. The scroll end seals the tube and replaces that edge with a smooth curve.
