Mid Post – Semi Frameless (Satin)

Description

The satin mid post sits between two glass panels in a balustrade run, carrying glass on both sides through four pre-fitted ‘D’ shape clamps. It is made from uncoated 316 marine-grade stainless steel in a 42.4mm round profile at 1100mm height, with a welded base plate and cover collar for a tidy surface fix.

The clamps grip 10mm toughened glass through rubber gaskets, so the panels themselves are never drilled — they simply clamp in place, which also makes a panel straightforward to swap later if needed. Keep spacing between posts to a maximum of 1150mm, adding a stainless steel mid post wherever a run exceeds that span. The satin post cap is sold separately.

• How does the glass attach to the mid post?

  Through the four pre-fitted ‘D’ shape clamps — two per panel, one panel each side of the post. Rubber gaskets inside each clamp protect the glass, and no holes are drilled in the panels.

• What glass thickness do the clamps take?

  The system uses 10mm toughened glass, and the clamps themselves accept panels from 10mm up to 12mm thick.
