Description
The plain post is an undrilled 48.3mm post for stair and sloping runs. On a slope the wires follow the pitch of the steps, so the holes have to be angled to match — something no factory-drilled post can do. This post arrives with a welded base plate and no holes at all, so you drill the seven wire holes yourself at the angle of your own stairs and the wire passes straight through, exactly as it does on a level run.
Mark the holes at 132mm centres to match the start/end posts at the top and bottom of the flight, so every wire lines through. The post is supplied 1100mm long and is cut down to 972mm before the saddle goes in, giving the same 1100mm finished height as the rest of the system.
