Adjustable Elbow (Satin)

Description

The satin adjustable elbow puts a pivot directly into the handrail. It joins two lengths of 42.4mm tube in-line, letting the rail bend to a stair pitch, a ramp or an off-square turn without any post-mounted hardware at that point. It is uncoated 316 marine-grade stainless steel, so it belongs on the same external and coastal staircases as the rest of the satin range.

Square 90° corners are better served by the fixed satin end elbow bracket, and when the angle change lands at a post, the satin height-adjustable elbow bracket handles it from the post top.

It serves the Post & Handrail Glass Balustrade System in Satin; a black powder-coated version matches the 304 black range.

• How many adjustable elbows does a staircase need?

  Typically two — one where the level rail breaks to the stair pitch at the top of the flight, and one where it returns to level at the bottom. Straight flights between those two points usually need no further elbows.

• Does it fit the standard satin handrail tube?

  Yes — it is made for the 42.4mm round tube used across the satin range, in the same uncoated 316 marine-grade stainless steel and satin finish.
