Build a stainless steel handrail for outdoor steps, garden stairs, ramps and walls from our 42.4mm handrail system, available in black and satin.

Wall mounted handrails

Fix the tube to a wall with adjustable or cranked wall brackets, finish the ends with wall flanges, end caps or scroll ends, and join lengths with in-line connectors. Adjustable elbows take the rail through changes of pitch and 90° corners turn it round corners. This is the set-up most people mean by a banister rail.

Handrails for outdoor steps

Where there is no wall, fix 978mm blank posts to the ground and carry the tube on saddle brackets: fixed saddles on level runs and adjustable saddles on steps and ramps.

Black or satin

Satin components are 316 marine-grade stainless steel, the better choice near the coast or a pool. Black components are powder-coated 304 stainless steel and are not recommended for coastal or poolside sites.

Good to know

  • Tube comes in 1200, 1500, 3000 and 5800mm lengths and is cut to length on site.
  • Fixing bolts are not included. Choose fixings to suit the wall or ground.
