The professional standard for sports pitch perimeter barriers. Double-layer welded mesh infill meets the FA's infilled barrier requirement at Steps 1–4. SGS certified, zero maintenance, 15-year warranty. Supply only or fully installed, nationwide.
The FA's Stadium Accreditation Criteria require a permanent infilled barrier at Steps 1–4 of the National League System — one the ball cannot pass through or roll under. They do not name a product. Double mesh satisfies that requirement by design, with welded panels above and below the middle rail closing both gaps, which is why it is the specification installed at the majority of Step 1–4 grounds. At Steps 5–7 and across rugby it remains the recommended choice — the highest-performing system in the range.

Per linear metre of completed fence, ex VAT. Includes posts, rails, mesh panels where applicable, and fixings. Gates and delivery are itemised separately on every quote and never folded into the metre rate.
Single gate (1.5m) £500 · double gate (3.0m) £1,000 · delivery £500 flat with Moffett off-load. For a worked total on a standard pitch, see our 2026 price guide.
Full setting-out detail, including the foundation sequence, is on our installation guide.

No, and it is worth being clear about this. The criteria require a permanent infilled barrier at Steps 1–4 that prevents the ball passing through or under it. They do not name double mesh, or any manufacturer or product. Double mesh meets the requirement by design; single mesh does not close the gap between the top and middle rail. If a supplier tells you the FA mandates their product, treat that with caution — there is no FA approval scheme and the Premier League Stadium Fund holds no preferred supplier list.
£59 per linear metre supply only, or £91 per metre supplied and installed, both ex VAT. Gates and delivery are itemised separately: £500 for a 1.5m single gate, £1,000 for a 3.0m double, and £500 flat for delivery with Moffett off-load. A standard 105 × 68m pitch needs about 350m of fencing, so a fully installed perimeter with four gates comes to around £35,350 ex VAT.
For clubs at Steps 1–6 of the National League System and Tiers 1–4 of the Women's Football Pyramid, the Premier League Stadium Fund contributes 70% of the cost of a new pitch perimeter barrier, rising to up to 100% where an existing solid brick, breeze block or concrete barrier must be removed or protected. The Fund holds no preferred supplier list. The Football Foundation does not fund pitch perimeter barriers, and at Step 7 and below there is no national grant route. We provide every specification document your application needs, free of charge. Read the full funding guide.
For a standard 11-a-side pitch of roughly 350m perimeter, a competent team of four with a mechanical post-hole borer typically completes installation over three days — posts on day one, concrete curing on day two, rails and mesh on day three. Allow a minimum of 24 hours curing before loading the posts. Read the full installation method.
Both are PVCu post and rail systems with mesh infill. Ours uses a 127 × 127mm post concreted into the ground, with bays at 2,500mm centres against 2,000mm on some competitors — fewer posts per pitch and less digging. On price, our supply-only rate sits below Duralock's reseller trade price of £59.80/m and around 14% below their retail list. Every order includes a drill jig for consistent fixing holes on site.
Tell us your perimeter length, sport and service preference. We respond within 24 hours with a full quote and specification document — everything a Premier League Stadium Fund or RFU application needs.
